Natural ingredients that have been reduced to handheld concentrates without water, in plastic-free packaging and you have an everyday beauty product created with sustainability at its core. Our concentrated Shampoo Bars are intentionally made with the finest ingredients nature has to offer. Formulated with nutrient-rich botanicals and oils (Argan, Jojoba, Kukui Nut, and Hemp) our shampoo bars cleanse locks, balance scalps, and deeply moisturize hair without adding to landfills and polluting precious water resources.

How to use: Simply hand lather and shampoo hair as normal or massage bar directly to hair and scalp; rinse and follow with a corresponding conditioner bar. Each bar will last around 75+ washes (may vary!). Store out of water stream on a dry soap dish.

Packaging: Each Bar comes packaged in a 100% compostable, recyclable, and biodegradable cardboard box with water-based ink.

Smells great and lathers beautifully, but sadly not a replacement for dandruff shampoo

I know I only gave it 3 stars, but I actually am a fan of this duo. Both smell fantastic. The shampoo bar lathers wonderfully. The conditioner bar is a game-changer. I really wanted the entire plastic-free system to work for me.

But. (There has to be a but, right?) I was "blessed" with a dry/itchy/finicky scalp, and sadly the peppermint shampoo bar doesn't quite live up to its dandruff-thwarting promises. Maybe it's me, maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm not a "shower daily" kind of person -- I live in a cold, damp climate, we don't sweat a lot up here, and I prefer to shampoo every 2-3 days on average. Since I switched to this shampoo bar, I've found that about 36 hours is the longest I can go before my scalp starts getting itchy. By the end of day 2, I'm basically desperate for a shower in a way that I haven't been when using the plastic-enclosed but sadly more effective actual dandruff shampoos.

For background, my dry scalp has never really been that bad. I switched to Head & Shoulders years ago, which rendered it a non-issue for so long that I'd almost forgotten what a dry/itchy scalp actually feels like. But I want to cut back on my plastic use, so I decided to try this out. And it's not _bad_... like I said, I love the scent and feel, but it's just not totally effective for me.

I wouldn't _not_ buy it again, but I still need to augment the shampoo with something like Head & Shoulders just to keep my scalp happy. I'd still recommend giving it a try, because who knows, we're all different, so it might work for you!

P.S. I really do adore the conditioner bar and recommend it 100%.
